EXCLUSIVE: Kubbra Sait Confirms NOT Playing Surpanakha in Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Ramayana, Quips, “My Nose Was Very Big”

Kubbra Sait is an Indian actress, model, and TV host known for her bold performances. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Kukoo in Sacred Games, where she played a transgender character. Kubbra started her career as an anchor and later transitioned into acting, appearing in films like Sultan, Jawaani Jaaneman, and Foundation, an Apple TV+ sci-fi series.

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Kubbra Sait talks about landing a role in Ramayana as Surpanakha. She says, “Ay I really think I would make such a good Supranakha but I’m not yaar, look at my nose yaar, I am THE candidate but, I’ll be happy to know who is playing, also you know what as a child people used to, you know… because my nose is big yaar so even then my nose was very big.“

She continued, “But I did audition, I did audition but, it’s okay you don’t get everything but when you don’t get it, it doesn’t mean you’ve lost everything… I was grateful I was in the room, I’m so grateful I got a chance to audition. But do you think I would have played a good Supranakha? I think I could have. So I think they are filming so I can confirm I’m not in it but, it would have been mad to do it, mad. I think it would have been really nice.”

Kubbra Sait recently starred in Deva (2025) alongside Shahid Kapoor, sparking talks of a sequel. In 2024, she appeared in Khwaabon Ka Jhamela, a rom-com that earned positive reviews. Up next, she joins Varun Dhawan in a David Dhawan-directed family entertainer. Her career continues to thrive with diverse roles.
